Concern for architect Joaquín Torres after suffering a motorcycle accident

Joaquín Torres is going through one of his most complicated moments. The architect revealed this Thursday through his social networks that last Monday, December 4, he had suffered a serious motorcycle accident on a central street in Madrid when he was on his way to work.

Raúl Prieto's husband announced it through a video on his Instagram profile, in which we can see him in the hospital bed and with several injuries in various parts of his body. ''Dear followers, friends. I wanted to publish and share this video with all of you, because the news will easily become known soon,' he began by saying.

''Last Monday when I was heading from home to work on my motorcycle, a vehicle left a garage invading the street and I could do little or nothing for this fatal accident. Unfortunately, those of us who ride motorcycles, bicycles, skates... are “invisible” to other drivers,' he asserted.

The accident has been a hard blow for the Antena 3 collaborator, who even claimed that he would never take a motorcycle again. ''I have sworn that it will be the last time I ride a motorcycle. I have had a very complicated accident, which could have gotten worse,' he said. At the moment, Joaquín Torres remains hospitalized because he has a broken pelvis in several places, a fractured forearm and several injuries to his liver and lungs.

In addition, the architect will have to undergo an operation lasting more than 5 hours next week. ''I hope and trust that everything goes well and I will soon be at 100%. Excuse my absence, these days with you, the A-cero community. I will try little by little to communicate here. You know that you are and have always been a fundamental support for me and our studio,' he declared.

Finally, Joaquín Torres wanted to have words of gratitude for all the healthcare personnel. ''As I also comment in this video, thank all the health personnel, who couldn't be better. A heartfelt hug to all. And take good care of yourselves,' he concluded.
