Come back 'There you!' daily on Telecinco and with an important news: goodbye to the legendary banker

Almost 20 years after its first broadcast, ¡Álá tú! has returned to the Telecinco grid in 2023, preserving its essence and the presenter who made it popular. It was in January 2004 when Jesús Vázquez took charge of the contest, an adaptation of the international Deal or no deal format produced by Gestmusic, and which has already experienced several stages in Spain.

The first of them lasted until 2008, and three years later, Mediaset decided to recover the program to be broadcast on Cuatro, a network that the group had just acquired at that time. 12 years after its last broadcast, ¡Álá tú! It returned this past summer to liven up Sunday nights with a view to the possible return of its daily strip.

This is how it will finally be: this December 25, Christmas Day, Telecinco re-releases the contest in access prime time, after the second edition of the news program, from Monday to Thursday. In this way, the so-called "box contest" returns, in which participants win money based on their negotiation skills, intuition and temperance.

Each program has 22 contestants, who are each given a box with different prizes inside. Of them, only one participant is chosen to play, and he must choose and open the boxes of his companions to discard some of the possible prizes.

The chosen contestant must choose between keeping the prize in their box, or accepting one of the telephone offers that will be offered by an enigmatic character known as "the banker", who now happens to be a woman. In this way, there you! says goodbye to the legendary banker who has been present in the format since its inception.

The offer offered will depend on the prizes that have not yet been opened, so the format has a component of luck that adds to the necessary negotiation capacity. The truth is that, unlike other contests, ¡Álá tú! It does not require special preparation, culture or skills from its participants.
