Bárbara Rey resigns from being a collaborator in 'Chinese Tales' after her clash with Jorge Javier

Chinese Tales continues to make headlines. Jorge Javier Vázquez's new program on Telecinco, which marks his reappearance after several months of television absence, has received another setback this week.

After being disappointed by its low audience, the television project signed Bárbara Rey as a collaborator. However, a run-in with the star has caused her to leave the program, leaving Jorge Javier in a very compromising situation.

Faced with a complicated first week, Chinese Tales invited the actress, announcing her as a surprise collaborator. “I'm going to announce something. I was thinking about it a lot because they caught me by surprise, and they offered me if I want to be here as a collaborator,” said the star, while the audience burst into applause.

However, Rey has not made his debut as a 'storyteller', since he has not been satisfied with the development of his first program. The actress initially thought that the project would be focused on humor, where there would be no place for politics, something that ultimately was not the case.

Bárbara Rey ended up talking about endless topics such as the case of Luis Rubiales, for which Jorge Javier caught her attention. “Even though you are a man, the way things are, I have to be very careful when hugging you. It's not going to be…” said the collaborator after greeting Carlos Sobera, causing Jorge Javier to classify her as "old."

Barbara, in these matters of society, a shrimp that falls asleep, goes with the current. You will want to see if you want to be evolving with society or prefer to stay in the dandruff zone,” stated the presenter, to which the star responded: “I am not dandruff nor will I be. What I am is a person with common sense.”

The program's figures lead the new format of Mediaset's first channel to lower the average and face its biggest rival, El Hormiguero and Antena 3 Televisión. Competing against Pablo Motos' program is being more complicated than it seemed, and humor is not being enough to attract viewers.
