Big Joke reveals the moment in which Daniel Sancho confessed to Edwin Arrieta's crime: "He succumbed to the evidence"

It has been more than a month since the alleged murder of Daniel Sancho and Colombian Edwin Arrieta in Thailand became known. Since then, the Spanish chef, son of the well-known actor Rodolfo Sancho, has been in preventive detention in Koh Samui prison, where he has received visits from both his father and his mother, Silvia Bronchalo.

The case has acquired great media interest in Spain and the coverage that is being carried out on it has led one of the visible faces of the Thai police to attend to the media on a regular basis. This is Big Joke, number two in the police force, who this week gave a new interview to Vamos a ver, the program that Joaquín Prat recently premiered on Telecinco.

In addition to explaining what they found in the hotel during the first inspection ("We found a significant amount of blood throughout the living room and the bathroom"), Big Joke has also spoken openly about the moment when Daniel Sancho collapsed and confessed that he had murdered Edwin.

It was precisely Sancho who alerted the Thai agents about Arrieta's alleged disappearance, and it was just after that first analysis when the cook "succumbed to the truth," in the words of the country's number two police officer. "After analyzing the piece of body, it was confirmed that it was Edwin's and he succumbed to the evidence confessing that it was he who had killed and dismembered the surgeon," he said.

Big Joke's testimony shows that Daniel Sancho initially tried to act cool, but couldn't help but break down shortly after. And it is not the only time this has happened to him, since viewers of And Now Sonsoles, on Antena 3, also saw Rodolfo Sancho's son break down during the reenactment of the crime against Edwin Arrieta.

After the alleged murder of the surgeon, Daniel put his body in a refrigerator where he had to go again to testify about what happened to the Thai authorities. It was after pointing it out that the cook put his hand to his head and those in charge of interrogating him preferred to "let him rest", seeing his emotional state decline.
