Anne Hathaway stars in Versace's most daring collection

Anne Hathaway has regained her status as a style icon. Her role as Andy Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada made her the girl of fashion almost 17 years ago thanks to the spectacular outfits she wore in the film. As she has confessed on more than one occasion, working with the best stylists was quite an apprenticeship and she adopted the style tricks that she had been taught during filming for her day-to-day life.

After the premiere of the film based on the book by Lauren Weisberger, Hathaway was quite a style prescriber, a title that she lost over the years and that last summer she recovered from the hand of Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of Valentino , which once again turned it into an icon that has captured the attention of other firms.

Versace has just confirmed that Anne is the new image of its Versace Icons collection, a campaign that has brought out the most daring and suggestive side of the Oscar-winning actress. Days before announcing this signing, the star of Princess by Surprise attended the fashion show of the Italian house in Los Angeles, where she captivated with a bondage-style leather minidress that she completed with black ankle boots with a very exaggerated platform.

"When the brilliant and talented Donatella Versace approached me for this campaign, she shared her vision for a timeless collection with the Versace Edge trademark. She said she wanted to focus on pieces designed to be a cherished part of the wardrobe, enjoyed outside of the fashion cycle. trends, worn over and over again throughout life. I thought this was a fantastic idea, and I am so proud, grateful and excited to find myself newly inducted into the iconic Versace family. Now I am going to enjoy these sexy jeans," she wrote. Hathaway on Instagram.

In one of the images, Anne poses mysteriously and sexy in a black corset, classic cut jeans and a leather jacket. Also in another she wears a shiny fabric minidress with which she shows off her legs.

"Working with Anne on the set of the Versace icon campaign was very inspiring. You see the talent she has and how she brings the collection to life. Versace has a long history of collaborating with some of the world's biggest stars and, for To me, the star makes the dress, but the dress also makes the star. On set you can see Anne being all these different characters, but also being authentically herself. The best version of herself in Versace of course! Anne, you are so professional and I am so happy that you are part of our family," Donatella said in networks after announcing this new addition to the list of celebrities who have posed for the brand, such as Gigi and Bella Hadid or Jennifer Lopez.

The designer did not hesitate to show her emotion for this campaign. "I'm a huge fan of her work, of course, but more than that, I admire her as a woman. She's a huge star, she's a businesswoman, she's creative, and she's exceptionally kind," she said in the post.

Regarding Versace Icons, the creative director of the firm that created Gianni Versace explained that it is a "very personal" collection for her because she wants to pay tribute to "the multifaceted and inspiring women we dress."
