Aitana reveals what her worst experience was within Operación Triunfo: ''I have it very clear''

Operación Triunfo 2017 was a television phenomenon. After a hiatus that lasted years, the famous musical reality show that had produced stars such as David Bisbal, Chenoa, Edurne, Pablo López, Soraya Arnelas, David Bustamante and Lorena Gómez returned to the small screen of our country.

As expected, the season achieved great audience data. Millions of people waited for the galas every week to celebrate the victories of their favorite contestants or to mourn their nominations and expulsions.

One of the most outstanding candidates of the edition was Aitana Ocaña, who took a more than deserved second place in the final, only surpassed by the incredible and original voice of Amaia Romero.

Although she did not achieve success in the musical program, Aitana distanced herself from her peers and embarked on a career that placed her as one of the most famous singers in our country. Concerts and festivals throughout the national and international territory, leadership in music charts on the main platforms... a complete success.

In an interview for the Mexican program Pinky Promise, Ocaña had to answer honestly to the question of what his worst experience was in the most famous academy on television. Far from doubting or having to think twice, the young woman expressed that she knew perfectly well what she should answer: "I have it very clear."

The leading actress of the series La Última explained that for her the worst moment of OT was gala 0, since she had to open the first program of the edition with a very difficult song, Bang Bang by Ariana Grande, Jessie J and Nicki Minaj . Not only was it a complicated song, but there was a sound failure that caused her to be lost, as well as the dancers.

''Everyone was lost because I came into the song later. Then suddenly I was going later and people didn't know it, but the chorus came (...) I went into lockdown and changed the entire song,' she expressed distressed.

As the Catalan explained, her parents told her how they experienced the situation from home: ''And my mother and father told me that they were at home like 'I think you're making a mistake.' And I'm like 'yeah, obviously.' My faces were... I say, they're kicking me out.''

The interpreter of Telephone, You're going to stay, Las babys, Los Ángeles, Formentera or With honey on the lips explained that she was not expelled that night because everyone knew that there had been technical problems, but that she had a really bad time. Furthermore, it should be noted that Ocaña had just turned 18 years old.
