A bachelor from 'First Dates' is amazed by the physical appearance of his date: ''We look like two stickers''

The most romantic restaurant on television reopened its doors one more night. This Wednesday, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed different diners, who decided to show up at First Dates in the hope of finding their soul mate. And although the Cuatro space does not always manage to find the perfect combination between singles, the truth is that often something totally unexpected happens.

That is what Ismael, a 28-year-old computer technician, experienced firsthand, who claimed to be quite a ''geek'' of oriental culture. He defined himself as an empathetic and happy person, something with which the presenter agreed. ''You can be seen,'' he declared. In love, he was looking for a boy with the three B's: a good person, with a beard and a belly.

His date was going to be Pol, a 26-year-old ship steward, who also defined himself as a ''geek''. The first impression between the two was quite good. ''I like it. A boy with a beard, simple and with a belly,' declared Ismael, who immediately confessed to his date the three requirements that his perfect man should have. ''It seems like you accomplish everything,'' he told her. ''I'm starting well,'' Pol responded.

Moments later, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where the evening began. Once seated, the singles discovered that they had many things in common in Motril, Granada. ''I am Catalan, but my mother is from Murcia and her father is from Granada,'' declared Ismael. Something very similar to Pol's family tree. ''I am from Madrid, my brothers are from Catalonia and my father is from Cádiz,'' he said.

The date progressed and the singles discovered that they also had things in common in the workplace. And Ismael was a computer scientist and Pol was a video game designer. ''I find it something super interesting,'' said Ismael, who also confessed to being a person with selective memory. Something that Pol identified with. ''We look like two stickers. We even have the same glasses, not literally, but the same style,'' Ismael asserted.

As for what they were looking for in the other person, the singles showed that they had certain differences, although nothing that could be a major impediment to starting a relationship. Ismael considered himself a sexually active person, so he demanded the same in the other person. ''I don't demand a lot of sex, to be honest. "Normal," commented Pol.

In the final stretch of the evening, their similarities continued to be the main protagonists of the dinner. But when Pol brought up long-distance relationships, a small gap appeared between them. ''I have never had long-distance relationships, so it can have a negative effect,'' said Ismael. But in the final decision, both confessed to wanting a second meeting.
