The CGT calls a strike at ADIF for this Monday to demand salary improvements

The Federal Railway Sector of the General Confederation of the CGT (SFF-CGT) has called a new strike day for this Monday at the Railway Infrastructure Administrator (Adif) to demand labor improvements for the workforce, such as the reduction of the working day to 35 hours a week and salary increases.

Specifically, the CGT union continues to demand the reduction of the working day to 35 hours a week on days off, for all groups of ADIF workers, the creation of employment and the rejuvenation of the workforce, which makes possible a "true generational replacement in this public company".

It also calls for an end to the loss of purchasing power of the workforce, while Adif improves its activity, thanks to a "soaring productivity" due to the lack of human resources and the "zero negotiation of its production models".

On the other hand, the CGT considers that the agreement that the company has offered to the workers is a "trap", because it would give a "ball of oxygen" to the public company, thanks also to other "sold unions".
