The Enigma is a visionary creation that wants to project the everyday pleasure of driving in an extraordinary car. The GT has an eminently elegant silhouette and rides low to the ground on large wheels. The thin LED strips at both ends play the role of headlights and taillights.
The car is 4.58 m long and has a relatively long wheelbase of 2.88 m. It has no A or B pillars, while the C is thick and very inclined, leading to an aerodynamic and optimized rear part. This contributes to the car obtaining an excellent aerodynamic coefficient. The setup also includes active aerodynamic elements, such as a kind of shutters on the front grille and deflectors on the wheels.
The futuristic design includes a large roof that rises along with the entire dashboard to allow entry and exit to an innovative cabin with a 2 2 design. The dashboard is dominated by an OLED screen with augmented reality and Artificial Intelligence. The vehicle has autonomous driving functions. Sustainable materials are present throughout the interior of the cabin, including the seats.
The Pininfarina Enigma GT is powered by a rear mid-range V6 engine (2.5 liters and fueled by hydrogen) and also by an electric motor. The V6 generates 436 HP to the rear axle, while the electric motor delivers 268 HP to the front wheels in an all-wheel drive configuration.
The Enigma accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds and boasts a top speed of 250 km/h. Hydrogen is stored in a 9 kg tank, while electrical energy is stored in a battery with a capacity of 10 kWh. Together, they allow the GT to travel up to 550 km without having to stop to refuel or recharge.
