New recklessness at the wheel. On this occasion, it took place in Navarra and was shared by the Provincial Police itself on their social networks. This is a 34-year-old driver from Logroño, who on February 27 was caught driving his powerful SUV at 204 km/h on the A12 highway.
If from the outset this speeding corresponds to a very serious infraction, there is also the aggravating circumstance that it does so in adverse weather conditions. And it is that, as can be seen in the radar photo shared by the aforementioned body on Twitter, at that time it was snowing, which reduces the visibility of the environment and worsens the adhesion of the vehicle to the asphalt.
As advised by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), in these weather circumstances extreme caution must be exercised. To do this, it is necessary to drive smoothly -without accelerating or braking or sudden turns-, reduce the pace of march and increase the safety distance with respect to the preceding vehicle.
The negligent behavior of the driver in question here has led to a fine of 600 euros and the deduction of 6 points from the license. Some users of the social network consider that the financial penalty is too low, but they do not say so because of the seriousness of the conduct, but rather because they assume that a person who drives an expensive vehicle has a lot of money and paying this amount is not a deterrent to them. to avoid doing so again in the future.

These economic amounts can be increased depending on the seriousness and consequences of the facts, but they will never be increased based on the driver's income.
