Securitas Direct has entrusted Yan Sirera as the new general director of Spain, a newly created position to lead the business areas in the country. Sirera will report to Antonio Anguita, executive president of the Iberia, Italy and Latin America cluster, after he has worked in different national and international business units of companies such as Danone or PepsiCo.
Securitas Direct "has tripled its size and expanded its business towards new activities and through new channels," it explains in a statement. Currently, they say, it protects more than six million people through more than 1.8 million alarms and 135,000 Senior Protection devices. In 2022, the company launched a new generation of alarms with technology that increases detection and verification capabilities, with a response time of less than 20 seconds.
