World Cup 2030: but what is this?

FIFA has gone too far. And by a lot. In his attempt to please everyone, Gianni Infantino has curled his hair, an expression that does not go with seconds. Of course, the president has surely secured re-election with so many tied votes after an unprecedented decision that is difficult to understand. They are stealing football from us at a forced pace. Romantics can now (we can) dedicate themselves to something else.

Spain will organize a World Cup again 48 years later. If we just stick to these words, it sounds good. Very good. But the 2030 event will have little (or nothing) to do with the 1982 event, and not precisely because Naranjito has been enjoying retirement in Marina d'Or for years.

The first conclusions about FIFA's decision are, to be generous, surreal. Let's review, just above, just a few. The World Cup will be held in six countries and on three different continents. We went from an event like the one in Qatar, in which you could go by metro to all eight stadiums, to having to take a 12-hour plane and cross five time zones to get from one to the other. They are leaving Berlanga as a true apprentice. Reallity always get over fiction.

The 2030 World Cup will also be the first to be held in summer and winter at the same time. Less paranormal phenomenon than it seems given the different hemispheres of the organizing countries. Soccer players, coaches, referees, journalists, volunteers... everyone will have to pack a good suitcase, with as many swimsuits as coats to survive. Quite an adventure courtesy of Infantino.

With the nice excuse of celebrating the centenary of the first World Cup, that of Uruguay, it seems that the Conmebol (South America) candidacy has agreed to step aside to let Spain, Portugal and Morocco take the lead in exchange for At least three games are played on their lands. Starting with the inaugural match, which will be played in Montevideo, recalling the 1930 event. A puzzle that is difficult to decipher, which also means that we already have six countries qualified for the 2030 World Cup. Which is nothing other than a true outrage, in the bad sense of the word.

Let's randomly choose Cameroon as a guinea pig. Opening match against Uruguay in Montevideo. Second day in Rabat against Morocco. Third day in Seville (to be generous) against Spain. But what is this?
