UEFA's 'lapse': Real Madrid, Champions League finalist before the match against City

Swipe on social media. With a couple of hours to go before the start of the match between Manchester City and Real Madrid, corresponding to the second leg of the Champions League semifinals, the official UEFA profile on Twitter already considers that the white club is a finalist together to Inter Milan. And the best, without playing the game this Wednesday.

"The finalists are confirmed and the stage is set. Answer this five-question questionnaire correctly to go to Istanbul," reads the tweet, which is accompanied by a graphic with the shields of Real Madrid and Inter Milan.

The Etihad Stadium is the setting between City and Madrid, who are playing tonight for the ticket to the final in Istanbul after a one-goal draw at the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg.

Users were baffled by such a publication a few hours before the start of the semifinal, but little by little they contemplated that the same 'error' or 'lapse' had been published a few hours before, but with another protagonist: Pep Guardiola's Manchester City , with Inter as finalists.

"What bungling these from UEFA!" exclaimed a user on Twitter. "Nothing new with Madrid" or "help is coming", exclaimed others in response to the tweet with the white club. These 'missteps' suggest that the manager of the European soccer governing body account has accidentally rushed into posting pre-prepared tweets for the possible scenarios.
