A court has ordered prison for two men aged 30 and 32 in Orihuela (Alicante) after being arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 31-year-old woman, who was first deceived with the excuse of offering her a job.
In the complaint, the victim stated that he was in a precarious situation and that is why he entered into a conversation with these young people. They both offered her the chance to get her a job and even gave her something to eat, after which, under this pretext, they took her to an isolated area where they were supposed to have a work meeting. Once there, she was forcibly seized from her and sexually assaulted, reports the National Police.
The events occurred on August 10 and were brought to the attention of the duty judge. The young woman was transferred to the Vega Baja Hospital in Orihuela, to carry out an examination and take biological samples, while the Judicial Police Group of the Family and Women's Care Unit of the Orihuela police station took charge of the investigation.
During the investigations, the investigators went to the area where the attack took place to carry out a technical-police inspection, collect images of the route and take statements. Days later, the attackers were located and detained in the center of Orihuela when they were recognized by the agents.
Subsequently, a house search was carried out in which a golden necklace was found that the suspects took from the victim, a Colombian national, at the time of the attack.
The Orihuela duty investigating court ordered the immediate imprisonment of the two men, both of Moroccan nationality.
