TvBoy's tribute to Raffaella Carrà dawns with Nazi graffiti

The graffiti artist Tvboy, known for his media murals around the world, denounces an act of vandalism in one of his works. Specifically, to the tribute to Raffaella Carrà and Freddy Mercury that he wears in Diagonal with Passeig de Gràcia, in Barcelona.

The image dawned yesterday with a Nazi symbol followed by an 88, whose meaning is the motto 'Heil, Hitler', and comes from the position of the letter H in the Latin alphabet.

Beyond the damage to the mural and the Nazi symbology, TvBoy and his team say that "it seems to us that this act is intended to attack an entire community."

However, the urban artist insists that "love is stronger than hate", which is why he has announced that he will paint the murals again.

TvBoy painted the Italian style during the month of pride, as the singer became an icon of the LGTBIQ collective. Carrà used her influence to break taboos, for example, being the first Italian woman to show her navel on television in the middle of a performance in 1970.
