The Sevillian town of Tomares will open in 2024 the third day of the 'Circuito Diputación Sevilla BTT Rally', which will be held this January 14, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the Olivar del Zaudín Park, "the great green lung of the Aljarafe" . It will be the third of the six events scheduled within this competition of this Olympic type of mountain bike.

This is a "top-level, multi-level" event, organized by the City Council, in collaboration with the Andalusian Cycling Federation and the Provincial Council, in which more than 500 bikers from Andalusia will participate. An event in which "a massive presence of cyclists attracted by the quality of the routes and the organization is expected, and who will want to show that they aspire to everything in this 2024 that we have just launched", according to the Consistory in a press release. .

A maximum of 600 participants must travel a mountain bike circuit of several laps - depending on each category - in the shortest time possible. In this sense, there are three routes that are proposed for this event, appropriate at all times to the different sections in contention. "Promise and beginners will develop their heats on a 1.12 km route of low difficulty, while in the case of juveniles and children it will be another 1.67 km route that is somewhat more complex and will experience the excitement of the scheduled races."

The absolute 5.28 km route will be the scene of the two largest races of the day, first the men's master's race plus all the women's categories and finally the race with cadet, junior, sub-23 and elite male runners.

The competition, which already held its first two events in Carmona (November 26) and Camas (December 17), will be aimed at all categories, from the youngest in schools to masters 60, men and women (Under-23 Only those born in 2017 or previous years will be able to participate.

At the end of the test, the first three finishers in each category will be awarded a trophy. In the case of Promise and Beginner, only athletes residing in the province of Seville will score in the circuit. Registration will be open until Thursday, January 11 (3:00 p.m.), they are free and must be formalized through the web registration form of the Andalusian Cycling Federation.
