The Minister of Housing and Urban Agenda, Isabel Rodríguez, and the Regional Minister of Territory of the Generalitat, Ester Capella, have agreed that starting in February the rent containment law will come into force in the 140 municipalities of Catalonia classified as areas stressed.
Rodríguez has committed to approving next February the report with the stressed areas, which in Catalonia are these 140 municipalities, as established last August by the Generalitat, as well as the reference price index.
