The yellow road in Sant Andreu de Sagas

I have captured these photographs for Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia when in Sant Andreu de Sagàs the mists opened up revealing a beautiful sky with high clouds.

The flowering rapeseed fields tell us that we are in spring, a dry spring when, with the light rain, the fields seem to have improved a little.

The Romanesque church of Sant Andreu de Sagàs, which we see at the end of this path surrounded by the yellow of rapeseed, was built in the first half of the 11th century.

This church has been declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest. The Romanesque head of the temple is the best preserved part of the original construction, since the rest underwent considerable modifications over the years.

The municipality of Sagàs belongs to the Berguedà region. The main economic activity in these lands is agriculture and livestock.
