The wild flowers of the Empordà

The beauty of our world has no limits, as can be seen in the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia. You just have to look. Sometimes we go through life too fast and don't notice the beautiful little things around us.

This plant and the wild flowers are an example of what you can discover walking through the countryside, in this case the Empordà.

The purest nature is wild, since the plant is raised naturally and without cultivation. Normally, it is synonymous with wild, uncultivated, but also with beauty.

A wildflower grows in the wild, which means it was not intentionally seeded or planted. However, some mixed species wildflower meadows are sold in seed packets, as if we wanted to tame nature.

Wildflowers are also a touch of attention so that we preserve our native plants. This was done, for example, in the United Kingdom, where the organization Plantlife International instituted the Country Flowers scheme in 2002 to raise awareness of the heritage of native species and the need to conserve them, since some of these species are in danger of extinction.
