The urban artist TVBoy has painted a kiss between the president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the leader of JxCat and former Catalan president, Carles Puigdemont, in a mural that can be seen from this Friday in the Plaza de Glòries in Barcelona.
On a blue background, both politicians appear kissing each other on the lips and below it is written: "My God, help me survive this mortal love", a work that the artist has recreated on social networks.
Behind TVBoy is Salvatore Benintende (Palermo, 1980), a graduate in design at the Polytechnic University of Milan and a student of Fine Arts in Bilbao, whose first appearance as TVBoy took place at the Faculty of Design in Milan, which organized an exhibition that included one of his works.
Salvatore Benintende has been living in the Catalan capital for years, where he has exhibited, from July 5 to September 17, at the Disseny Hub Barcelona, some 70 works, including paintings and photographs of his urban art, in which he proposes eliminating borders. and abandon a categorized vision of the world.
In Barcelona, TVBoy has painted other famous kisses, such as between the players Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo and, in July 2017, another kiss between the then President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, and the Generalitat appeared near the Palau de la Generalitat. , Carles Puigdemont.
