The Sau swamp is transformed into a pasture area

The tail of the Sau reservoir, without water due to the extreme drought, has become an unexpected meadow, at the foot of the Salt del Cabrit, where the herds have found food, as can be seen in the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguard.

Curious image of the swamp, which changes the water for green meadows of pastures. This is the only place where the herd finds fresh food, at the bottom of the reservoir that has been exposed and with the Salt del Cabrit waterfall that comes down with much less water than desirable.

To the south of Sant Martí Sescorts we find the well-known Salt del Cabrit, where the stream rushes into the pools (now non-existent) and the Sau marsh, in front of the monastery of Sant Pere de Casserres.

What is normally the spectacular Barra de Ferro waterfall, on the Riera de les Gorgues, very close to the hermitage of Sant Bartomeu Sesgorgues, is now another landscape affected by drought.

Osona's herds are having difficulty finding fresh pasture due to the persistent drought, which is not only having an effect on agriculture in Catalonia, but also on livestock.
