The Samà de Cambrils Park and the botanical garden of Ibiza come together to mitigate climate change

The garden of the Samà de Cambrils Park and the Ibiza Botanical Biotechnological Garden have signed an agreement to publicize the contribution of botanical species against climate change. The objective of the agreement is to share knowledge to accelerate innovation and conservation projects based on biotechnology.

According to those responsible, the first initiative they are developing this year will be the creation of a historical and experimental nursery with species from the Mediterranean environment. Parc Samà, which is part of the Xara Europea de Jardins Històrics, has fourteen hectares and about 1,500 trees.

As for the Eivissa Botanical Park, it was created five years ago with the aim of creating a center for the natural conservation of the Pitiusan flora and scientific dissemination.
