The Mossos d'Esquadra have opened an investigation to find those responsible for a robbery with the moon landing technique in a Mediamarkt store in Barcelona. The events took place at dawn last Sunday on Casanova street with Floridablanca and the event was recorded by some citizens who uploaded it to social networks, where it has gone viral.
In the video images, a gray car with a very battered rear bumper appears waiting in the middle of the road while the driver urges the thieves. Next to the vehicle, a group of men steal products from the store through a hole made in the lower part of the glass with the car.
The store alarm begins to fill the room with dense smoke to prevent and hinder the movement of the assailants, while the thieves remove as many products as they can. The driver, at one point, reverses to cover the escape of his companions and begins to urge them on by honking.
Finally, three people leave the store and awkwardly carry the stolen material. After that, the car starts its march at full speed.
The Mossos d'esquadra have confirmed the facts and emphasize that the robbery occurred around 3:00 on Sunday. No arrest has yet been made.
