The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested three people in the metropolitan area of Barcelona who were allegedly responsible for the violent death of an 86-year-old resident of Tàrrega on December 16.
The information on the arrests was advanced by Segre and later confirmed by ACN from police sources.
The crime took place at the victim's home, on Segarra street in the capital of Urgell.
That day, several people attacked the victim's home at dawn and shot him with a firearm that belonged to him, causing his death.
