The judge ignores Clara Chía and lifts the restraining order on a paparazzi

It is not the best day for Clara Chía. The Court of Instruction No. 6 of Barcelona concludes the period of removal that existed for the photographer Jordi Martín since last June 8, coinciding with the prosecution: although Gerard Piqué's girlfriend requested an extension on September 7, nor the ministry Neither the public nor the judge see any basis and the ban on approaching or communicating with the young woman no longer has any effect on Jordi Martín.

On May 10, Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía reported the photographer Jordi Martín for harassment at the police station and the matter went to the court, which received the 36 pages presented by the couple: a compendium of news, graphic reports, posts on Instagram and interventions on television by Jordi Martín referring to them directly or tangentially.

Piqué and Clara claimed to have been forced to change their usual routines to avoid the shadow of the paparazzi and in her case, they added a feeling of insecurity, anguish and alteration of their way of life. On June 7, they ratified the harassment complaint before the judge, but Piqué withdrew from it and although Clara maintained it, she reduced the attached request to remove herself from 3,000 to 1,000 meters. The precautionary measure was observed by his honor and he issued a three-month restraining order for Martín.

At the end of that period, Clara's lawyer presented a forensic report to the prosecutor's office last July maintaining that the young woman could suffer an "exacerbation of symptoms if exposure to this situation occurs again." However, the prosecutor answers that this argument conflicts with the principle of legal certainty and that “a future”, that is, a speculation, cannot undermine the personal rights that the removal measure entails.

The court has taken into account the following points: according to the forensic report, Clara Chía's sufferings have experienced an apparent improvement, Martín has not failed to comply with the order that ordered him not to approach her at this time and that the instruction concerns his end, that is, the judicial procedure continues its course and faces will meet again in the oral hearing, the date of which has yet to be decided.
