In Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we can see this photographic report of the great spring of the fields of Castilla - La Mancha. The earth really, despite the drought, shows us beautiful colors and contrasts. A fantastic landscape.

The plain dominates a large part of the territory, since almost 80% of the surface of this community does not exceed 1000 meters of altitude.

The great plain of La Mancha is a natural region that extends over a good part of the provinces of Ciudad Real, Albacete, Toledo and Cuenca.

In addition, the Alcarria covers part of the provinces of Guadalajara and Cuenca and has an altitude of around 1,000 meters above sea level.

The main rivers that run through the region are the Tagus and the Guadiana, which flow into the Atlantic, and the Júcar and Segura, which flow into the Mediterranean Sea.

But, in these fields of Ciudad Real, rainfed crops predominate, which give the landscape a yellowish color only contrasted by the blue of the sky and the white of the clouds, as well as the red of the wild poppies.

Depending on the type of field, with the vineyard and the vegetables, brown and green tones also come into play to add their touch to the Manchego landscape.
