Jordi Roca and Alejandra Rivas have just opened a "bikinería" in Girona, in what I call "the Golden Apple", because, with this establishment, they have a row, one next to the other: the latter plus the candy shop and the ice cream parlor , in the center. They have Monopoly.
Thus, the "bikinería" is located at number 6 Hortes Street, at the foot of the Rocambolesc confectionery and ice cream parlor, which I have also portrayed in this photographic report for La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos.
Jordi Roca is in the saga of the three Roca brothers of the Michelin Stars. And he is the best pastry chef in the world, with now international headquarters of his sweets.
You see him, his wife and family very often in the premises. And they start serving and talking to the clientele. It surely helps them to know first-hand what things people like or are most interested in. Girona is a provincial city but with a very international visitor.
In the photos we can see Jordi serving and, in my case, it was already night and he went out to eat his ice cream on the street. He told me that if I wanted a photo with him there was no problem. It was he who proposed her since he saw that she was going to take his portrait. He is a very nice person and above all a joker. If you follow his networks and public interventions "he is super cheerful"!
In the report we see the three locations of the Golden Apple of Girona, the ice cream parlour, the chocolate shop and now the new bikinería, which offers everything from the classic cheese and ham sandwich to more different proposals such as the pastrami, Iberian or vegetable sandwich.
