Almond, plum and apricot trees accompany the colors of spring to Castell de Miravet, later the peach blossom will come.

This spectacular castle, although only a little sunlight appears between clouds, stands out in the middle of a beautiful landscape and, even more so, if it is accompanied by this range of spring colors. It is the beautiful landscape of the Ribera d'Ebre.

Miravet takes us to the right of the Ebro, on the border with Baix Ebre and Terra Alta. This Templar castle stands out, located on the hill overlooking the river. It is a monument declared Good of Cultural Interest and one of the most visited in Catalonia.

Miravet is an old Islamic fortress, which was converted by the Temple order into a castle-convent in the mid-12th century.

Of Cistercian Romanesque style and crusader spirit, it is considered one of the best examples of the religious and military architecture of the Temple order in the entire West, along with that of Peñíscola.
