The German multinational Deutsche Telekom will soon open a new work center, called the Value Center, in Valencia, which will be operated by T-Systems Iberia, a subsidiary of digitization services for companies and public administration of the group, and for which it is already looking talent. The company forecast is to employ almost 400 engineers in new technologies.
In fact, yesterday the company began publishing job offers, and at the moment it has active positions such as identity systems architect, a technological profile that requires experience in IT environments and good communication in English, among others, to work on Deutsche Telekom's global identity, authentication and authorization portfolio.
They are also currently looking for an internal communication manager, a vacancy that they also published yesterday and in which they offer remote and face-to-face work, flexible hours and continuous training to work, among others, in the basic design of communication and corporate activities of the company from Valencia.
The company has landed this week in Valencia, where yesterday they met with members of the Valencian Government, to advance the collaboration between the Generalitat Valenciana and the company, as explained by the regional secretary of the Economic Model, María José Mira, who highlighted that the project is now being presented "after several months of meetings". Mira pointed to the "tractor effect" of other companies, such as Volkswagen, which makes other companies move to Valencia.
The location of the new technological center is still unknown, as "the details are being finalized", confirm company sources. The company's commitment, with a Value Center in Granada and another recently opened in Reus, is "to continue creating jobs, generating synergies with Spanish universities and promoting innovation to offer solutions to new social and business challenges through technology”, said Osmar Polo, CEO of T-Systems Iberia.
Polo participated on Wednesday in the presentation of the project together with Peter Leukert, CIO of Deutsche Telekom and CEO of Deutsche Telekom IT, who pointed out that "as a digital, scientific and cultural center of Spain, Valencia fits perfectly with the new technological hub of the group" .
Leukert referred to the "significant number of universities" and its "diverse international community", which in his opinion make cap i casal a "promising location", from which they expect "productive cooperation" with local experts and young professionals.
