After two years of absence due to the pandemic, the Bilbao BBK Live Festival returns to the fray from the night of July 7 to Saturday 9 with more than a hundred artists on the bill. The organization of the festival has announced that more than 100,000 spectators are expected for the weekend.

LCD Soundsystem, the New York band led by James Murphy that heads today's bill, will celebrate its two decades on stage with its fans, in its only performance at a European festival. This Thursday, Placebo will also perform, presenting their recent album Never let me go; Caribou, one of the reference names in dance music, and the Berlin trio Moderat, among other artists. On Friday, The Killers, the Brandon Flowers band, will return to Mount Kobetas, where they already performed in 2017 before 40,000 spectators who packed the venue, to present the songs from their last two albums.

The last day of BBK Live will host the main concert by Pet Shop Boys, the iconic British electronic pop duo, who will perform their best-known hits that have become authentic classics, such as Heart or It's a sin. The Colombian J Balvin will then jump on stage, where the Argentine Nathy Peluso will also perform on Saturday, among others.
