Antonia found the girl face down inside a plastic bag from a supermarket in the municipality, and quickly took her out and notified the emergency services. Equality sources have informed EFE that "once she is discharged," the little girl will urgently be placed under guardianship in a child protection center, although the urgent protocol will be activated to try to find a "family of urgency", in order for the girl to be in a home as soon as possible.

The baby was rushed to the Virgen de Valme hospital, where, initially, she seems out of danger. The investigation has begun to try to locate the mother, based on data on pregnancies or possible DNA testing that will be performed on the little girl.
