The emergency number service, 112, responded to 85 calls and 66 files until one in the morning this Tuesday due to the storm episode.
The majority of calls came from Torredembarra (22), where heavy hail fell, and Barcelona (17).
For their part, firefighters received 38 warnings between 10:00 p.m. and one in the morning due to the storm in the Tarragona region, also concentrated mainly in Torredembarra. In fact, the effects of the hail were still visible in this municipality of Tarragonès this Tuesday morning.
Among others, the municipal sports area has had to be closed and there are damages to playgrounds and public roads. The Brigade and the cleaning service are working to improve accessibility by removing accumulated stone.
