Taxi drivers stop protests against pirate drivers at Barcelona airport

The taxi drivers have decided to suspend the protests that they planned to mount these days at the airport against the proliferation of pirate drivers.

Representatives of Elite Taxi and Anget met this Wednesday afternoon with the director of the infrastructure, Sonia Corrochano, and her technical team. Everything went so well that the taxi drivers even apologized for some protest posters distributed these days around the airport in which the director was parodied. The taxi drivers also explained that in the coming weeks Aena will improve the signage in the taxi area so that travelers do not get confused when landing and are captured by clandestines.

In addition, the Barcelona airport management body will soon start, in a few months, the dignification of some of the spaces normally used by taxi drivers.

Elite Taxi and Anget added that they will continue to carry out surveillance work in the terminals for a few more days so that the clandestines they have already expelled do not return.
