Six injured in the Madrid restaurant fire remain hospitalized

Six of the people injured last Friday in the fire at a restaurant in Madrid remain hospitalized in public hospitals, three of them with serious prognoses, and another two have been discharged, the Madrid Ministry of Health reported this Thursday.

According to the update on the health status of these people sent by Health, a 25-year-old woman, admitted to the Major Burns Unit of the Getafe Hospital, is evolving favorably and remains "stable within the severity", reports Efe.

At the Gregorio Marañón Hospital, a 29-year-old man, who remains admitted to the ward, is evolving favorably.

At the Clinical Hospital, a 26-year-old patient "continues on the ward with favorable evolution", and another, 21-year-old, has been discharged.

In the Burn Unit of the La Paz Hospital, two patients, aged 40 and 26, remain admitted "in serious condition." The 26-year-old patient has been extubated.

At the Hospital de La Princesa, a 52-year-old woman is still admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), "already extubated and with favorable evolution", and another 25-year-old woman has been discharged.

All these people were injured on the night of last Friday, the 21st, in a fire that broke out in a restaurant in Madrid, in the Plaza de Manuel Becerra, in which two people died, a client, a 43-year-old nurse from Biscay, and a 25-year-old waiter, restaurant worker.
