Daniel Sirera will only vote for the investiture of Jaume Collboni if he undertakes in writing not to include Ada Colau or any BComú councilor in the municipal government. This condition, expressed again this morning by the mayor of the PP, added to the position of the commons - who, in the mouth of Jordi Martí, refuse to be part of any pact in which the PP intervenes - definitively alienates the socialist candidate from the mayor's office
"We have had contact with Collboni and Trias, we presented them with a program with 43 proposals but no one has sat down to talk about the program, they talk about chairs", Sirera said this morning, reiterating that "I feel disappointed, I think that Barcelona needs a lot of further".
The mayor has sent a letter to Jaume Collboni reiterating that "We Barcelonans have said that we do not want Colau or Colauism. We want to turn the page on these eight years of ideological experiments and economic, cultural and social decline. Barcelona needs another government ".
In the letter addressed to the socialist mayor, he expresses "the will to reach an investiture and governance agreement with you. An agreement in which the Commons are not part of the city government. For this reason, I have cleared my agenda this afternoon for if you consider this proposal and want us to meet to discuss it."
In short, Sirera would only facilitate a government headed by Collboni, if he can count on the votes of all the BComú councilors without them being part of the government. "The ball is now in the hands of Collboni and Colau, who will have to decide which government he prefers; we have acted responsibly."
