Primavera Sound continues with its purpose of celebrating its twentieth anniversary in style, after staying with the desire in the 2020 and 2021 editions, finally cancelled. The festival proposes an international poster so that a very varied public can enjoy live music in different parts of Barcelona. Although the concerts are concentrated on weekends in the Parc del Fòrum, the Primavera a la Ciutat cycle allows outstanding artists to perform in different venues in the Catalan capital.

Thus, after yesterday's great day at Fòrum, the music will continue to play at the venue this Friday on the second day of the second weekend of the macrofestival. From 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., its 14 stages will host multiple concerts, some of which are the most anticipated of Primavera, which is expected to be another massive day.

In this case, the starting point of the fifth official day of the festival will be on the Cupra stage, with the sea in the background. The musical project Tarquim, led by composer and producer Pau Vidal, will be in charge of opening the day (4:15 p.m.). The Estrella Damm space will also host today some of the festival's great live performances. This Thursday will be the turn of the Galician group Triángulo de Amor Bizarro (6pm), the American soloist Brittany Howard (8:15pm), the rock band The Strokes (10:55pm) and the hip-hop duo Run the Jewels ( 1:55 a.m.). It is expected that The Strokes can finally return to the macro event, since they were dropped at the last minute from the first weekend's poster after one of their members tested positive for covid.

Also taking to the stage this Thursday will be Plenitude Apartamentos Acapulco (5:30 p.m.), American singer Cautious Clay (7:05 p.m.), Australian singer-songwriter Stella Donnelly (8:50 p.m.) and IC3PEAK (10:35 p.m.). Starting at dawn, the musical project Yeule (00:35 a.m.), the band Special Interest (02:10 a.m.) and Unai Muguruza (04:05 a.m.), who already performed the first weekend, will perform on the same stage.

Throughout this afternoon, Binance will host performances by the rock group Nueva Vulcano (5:00 p.m.), the rapper and composer Sampa the Great (6:50 p.m.), the Australian singer Courtney Barnett (8:45 p.m.), the group alternative rock band The Jesus and Mary Chain (11:20 p.m.) and Californian Remi Wolf (1:50 a.m.).

At the same time, Marta Knight (4:45 p.m.), Menta (6:15 p.m.), the Canadian indie rock band Tops (7:55 p.m.), the Irish post-punk group The Murder Capital (9:45 p.m.), the singer-songwriter Priya Ragu ( 11:30 p.m.), the Canadian Dorian Electra (1:20 a.m.) and the Indonesian team Senyawa (3 a.m.).

On this fourth official day of the festival, the concerts that will be offered from the NTS Warehouse, the space with the most avant-garde sounds, will be that of the composer Erika de Casier (10 p.m.), that of Valentino Mora Live (11:20 p.m.), that of the Finnish Vladislav Delay (12:20 a.m.), Pangaea (1:20 a.m.), LCY Live (2:50 a.m.) and DJ Mumdance (3:50 a.m.), in charge of closing the fifth day of Primavera Sound.

Likewise, in the Boiler Room X Cupra, DJ Kolt (6 pm), DJ Lycox (8 pm), DJ Firmeza (9:30 pm) and DJ Marfox (11 pm) will play non-stop, under the slogan 10 years of Príncipe. Following them will be Clemency (12:35 a.m.), Henzo (1:30 a.m.), aya b2b BFTT (2:30 a.m.) and Stolen Velor (4 a.m.), with the Yco Cru Takeover label. Finally there will be a bonus round.

Music by DJs Stein (6pm), Mary Anne Hobbs (7:30pm), Marco Shuttle (9pm), Efdemin (10:30pm), Wata Igarashi Live (midnight), Sama' Abdulhadi (1am), SPFDJ ( 02:30 a.m.) and VTSS Dj Set (04 a.m.) will occupy the Dice stage today.

The artists who will step on the Estrella Damm Sona stage today are Cat Gabal (5pm), JMII (9pm) and Yozy (1am). Spacer (7pm) and Deckard (11pm) will do so at Tous Sona. The music of Luces Negras (6:30 p.m.), Los Yolos (8:30 p.m.) and Futurachicapop (10:30 p.m.) will sound at Jack Daniel's Sona on this second day of the second weekend of the festival.
