Piqué withdraws the request for a restraining order against a photographer and Clara Chía reduces it to a thousand meters

Today was the day of the appointment: Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía, who denounced the photographer Jordi Martín for harassment at the police station, attended the appointment with the Examining Court No. 6 of Barcelona to ratify it. The defendant did the same.

Jordi Martín arrived at 11 with his lawyer and after having a coffee, at 11:20 he entered through the door that leads to the Gran Vía. A few minutes later Gerard Piqué and Clara Chía arrived, who entered through the door closest to Avda. Carrilet. She wasn't having the best day of hers, of course; Her appearance was frail and haggard. They were accompanied by Marc Piqué, who took the vehicle after leaving them in front of the court building.

The deployment of security in the courts seen this morning is not frequent: according to what La Vanguardia has learned, the couple requested protection from the Mossos d'Esquadra, for which a detachment of six agents have ensured their safety –Piqué and Clara waited his turn to make a statement in a separate room– and two agents have also been in charge of checking everyone who accessed the corridor of room No. 6 to check that they did not take photos with mobile phones.

Piqué and Clara left at almost 2:00 p.m., very calm and holding hands. It has been a remarkably long statement, around an hour and a half, at the end of which the couple did not want to comment. Marc Piqué was there to pick them up.

Jordi Martín entered to testify after a brief recess and was before his honor practically as much. He left at four in the afternoon, considerably satisfied since the prosecution has requested his free acquittal. In statements to Europa Press, Martín's lawyers, Ricardo Abia and Paola Chamorro, explained that the former soccer player has withdrawn the request for removal while she has reduced it to 1,000 m even acknowledging that he always moves with her boyfriend.
