This Tuesday the documentary 'Aitana Bonmatí' is presented on TV3. Over the last two years, a team from Catalan public television has accompanied her to talk about her successes, but also to get to know Aitana more personally.
The documentary premieres tonight, after Telenoticies and consists of two chapters and with the extra content of a third in which the meeting between the FC Barcelona player and Pep Guardiola, her idol as a coach and a declared admirer of the magic of the midfielder from Sant Pere de Ribes.
Throughout this conversation Aitana speaks openly about her desire to be the sports director of FC Barcelona in the future. Guardiola suddenly blurts out, “I thank you for the offer,” to which the soccer player replies that she has not yet made him any of them. “It would come for free, don't suffer,” the coach responds in a response that has given Barcelona fans wings to dream: “It wouldn't be an economic issue. But there will be a problem that I must warn you: I will be the president and I will be the one to sign you as sports director.”
This is one of the most memorable moments of the conversation between the two, which takes place between the mutual admiration they have for each other. A conversation in which they talk about football, Barça, mental health or the defense of the Catalan language. An hour of confessions that will be released in a separate chapter soon.
In addition to this long-awaited meeting, the documentary also includes reflections from the soccer player over the last two years in which Aitana Bonmatí has won collective titles such as the Champions League with Barça or the World Cup with the Spanish team, in addition to all the recognitions individuals, highlighting the Ballon d'Or.
