The sunset on the coast of Sant Adrià de Besòs, in the Barcelonès, is marked by the silhouette of the old thermal power plant and by the maritime architecture and the boats of the nearby Port Fòrum, as we see in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

The old Sant Adrià thermal power plant, popularly known as the Three Chimneys, was a conventional cycle thermoelectric installation.

Property of Fecsa-Endesa, it was operational between 1973 and 2011. After the dismantling of the plant, the turbine room and its three iconic chimneys have been preserved, which are currently municipal property and which, in the urban transformation, will be protected as an Asset Cultural of Local Interest.

For its part, geographically, Port Fòrum is located between the municipal limits of Sant Adrià de Besòs and Barcelona. Today we find commercial, leisure and restaurant offers, although originally these premises and buildings housed activities of the 2004 Universal Forum of Cultures.

After the completion of this event, the port was expanded, for example, with the construction of the Mar building, located on the Levante dock, which is the outermost area of the port area.
