One of the Crazy Boys before the crime in the Free Zone: "I want to go out and kill"

The investigating judge 20 of Barcelona yesterday decreed the entry into provisional prison without bail for the four people linked to the most violent faction of the Boixos Nois, the Casuals, arrested this week for their alleged involvement in the stabbing death of a man in the Free Trade Zone last April. Those imprisoned are three men, aged 28, 26 and 25, belonging to the Cubs, the Casuals' youth academy, and a woman, aged 25, the partner of one of them.

In a car to which La Vanguardia has had access, the judge points out that in “the hours before” the crime one of those arrested sent a message to another of those involved commenting “that he was crazy and that he wanted to go out and kill.” Shortly after, they met the engaged couple on Can Serra de l'Hospitalet Avenue and together they headed towards the Plaza del Nou in Barcelona where the homicide occurred. Two men were attacked there. One died after receiving nine stab wounds and the other was seriously injured. “Today, six months later, he is still convalescing,” the judge emphasizes.

The car describes that the attack occurred jointly. “Acting in common agreement, guided by the desire to make an attempt on M. A.'s life, they went to the Plaza del Nou in Barcelona, the place where the victims were, and once there, with the woman remaining inside the vehicle, "The other three investigated attacked the victims with knives."

The investigators located those arrested thanks to the physical description made by some witnesses who witnessed the events and after the mobile phone of one of those involved was found in the deceased's pocket. It was on that mobile phone that the incriminating conversation was found. Furthermore, at the scene of the events, the Mossos found a piece of plastic, a trim on the left windshield that belonged to the body of the vehicle with which the alleged aggressors fled. The woman, although she did not materially participate in the homicide, was imprisoned because, according to the judge, she “provided a means of transportation through which they traveled to the scene of the crime.”

This is one of the three crimes that the Mossos d'Esquadra attribute to the Casuals, an organization to which they dealt a severe blow last June and whose operation has already reached 50 detainees after collecting evidence of their alleged participation in several crimes such as drug trafficking, kidnappings, threats and extortion. The Mossos also link the violent faction of the Boixos Nois with the death of the employee of a brothel whose body was found in the trunk of a van while it was traveling on the Vía Augusta in Barcelona and the shooting death of a drug trafficker in Badia del Vallès .
