More problems for Alejandro Sanz: The singer and Rachel Valdés break up after three years of relationship

Alejandro Sanz is not going through a good stage. He himself confirmed it through a publication on his Twitter profile a week ago. The interpreter of songs like Corazón Partío or ¿Y si fuera ella?, acknowledged having experienced some problems in his mental health. Some problems that could be added to his break with his current partner, Rachel Valdés. This Saturday, the magazine Hello! publishes that both would have put an end to their relationship after more than three years together.

As the aforementioned magazine explains, it was two weeks ago when the break occurred. Both would have dragged a strong couple crisis in recent weeks. According to sources close to the magazine, the Cuban artist finally left the house where they both lived, taking all their belongings. It is also specified that it would have been Sanz who would have made the decision as a result of wear and tear in coexistence and a very large difference of ideas.

This news comes to light the same day that El Mundo anticipates that the couple would be going through this crisis for a while. The 52-year-old singer and the 31-year-old Cuban artist had been together for more than three years. The two began their relationship in 2019 and have been inseparable ever since. The 21 years that separate them have not been an impediment for both of them to formalize their relationship and show the love they felt for each other. A love that could have come to an end.

It was at the end of last May when the artist worried the Twitter community with an alarming publication in which he admitted that he is going through a bad mental moment. The artist sent a powerful message to those who find themselves in similar situations and feel the pressure to maintain a façade of happiness. "I'm not fine. I don't know if this is of any use, but I want to say it," he began by saying.

"I am sad and tired. In case someone else believes that there must always be a sea breeze or a firework on a summer night," said Sanz. "I'm working to make it go away... I'll get to the stage and something inside will tell me what to do. But sometimes I don't even want to be there. Literally. Just to be honest," he continued. The artist concluded the public message of him reaching out to those who may be dealing with similar issues.

"For not going into the useless noise. I know there are people who feel like that. If it works for you, I feel the same," he sentenced. There were many who applauded Sanz's courage in revealing his situation and raising his voice to make mental health problems visible. Some problems that could have been reinforced by this supposed break that has now come to light.

Without a doubt, it is not being a good moment for one of the greatest artists in the history of our country. The man from Madrid, who is in Pamplona today preparing the start of his Spanish tour Sanz en Vivo, has not yet ruled on the break with what his partner has been up to now. For now, we will have to wait for an official confirmation or, on the contrary, a denial by the couple.
