Marina Rossell, Roger Mas and Miquel Gil, protagonists of Posidònia Fest 2022

Marina Rossell, Roger Mas, Miquel Gil and Magalí Sare are some of the artists who will participate in the second edition of Posidònia Fest, which will be held between September 1 and 3 in the port of Mataró (Maresme).

Other confirmed groups and singers are Jo Jet and Maria Ribot, Caamaño

There will be a main stage and another dedicated exclusively to artists from the Maresme region chosen from among the projects that have been submitted to the call launched by the festival, in this case, Golden Embers, Diode and Mama Calypso and the Xavals Tropicals.

It is planned that on September 1 Golden Embers will perform and, on the main stage, the duo Caamaño

Posidònia Fest will be closed by regional artists Mama Calypso and the Xavals Tropicals, Magalí Sare and Miquel Gil, former member of the Valencian group Al Tall, which since its foundation in 1975 was a pioneer of the popular musical tradition of this territory.

On the other hand, the Posidònia Fest wanted to convert its second edition into a space dedicated to art, reaching an agreement with the Revela't festival of contemporary analogue photography. During the days that the event lasts, there will be a photographic exhibition in Mataró that will serve as a prelude to the exhibitions that have been organized from September 9 to October 2 in the region.

The Posidònia Fest owes its name to the 700 hectares of posidonia, Mataró's ecological heritage that the city council and the port make an effort to protect and promote, for example, through this musical event.

The Posidònia Fest is born from the record label of Mataró, Microscopi, with the support of the Port of Mataró, the City Council of Mataró, the Regional Council of Maresme, and other sponsors and collaborators, especially local entities related to the environment, such as Aigües de Mataró, DO Alella, Hotel Atenea Port, Libera de Ecoembes, Lot del Maresme, NEM, 9Transport and Pinmat.

To access the festival, which in its first edition brought together established musicians and new talents, such as Maria del Mar Bonet, Pau Vallvé or Borja Penalba, you can buy a ticket that includes the three concerts of the day or a subscription for the three days that it will last.
