Beautiful light at sunset in the Parc de l'Agulla in Manresa, with a beautiful shine, colored clouds with Montserrat in the background, iridescence and everything reflecting in the water of the pond, as shown in this photographic report in The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia .

In one of the series of snapshots we can look at the iridescence that forms in the sky and is reflected in the water. It is an optical phenomenon caused by multiple reflections of light. It is very common in nature, with the color palette that can be seen.

Iris, in Greek mythology, is the personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods, who left a trail of luminous colors behind her.

The artificial lake came into operation in 1974. Its main function is to supply water to the city of Manresa and other surrounding towns. It has a capacity of 200 million liters, which represents a water reserve for 5 days.

Parc de l'Agulla is not only the largest park in the Bages region, but a large nature reserve that houses more than 600 trees of 20 different species. In the background you can see the silhouette of the Montserrat mountain, as seen in some of the snapshots.
