The preparation of the European candidacies has opened a new front, and there are already a few, between the former Aragonese president, Javier Lambán, and the leadership of the PSOE headed by Pedro Sánchez.
This Wednesday, the still general secretary of the Aragonese socialists accused the national leadership of the party of humiliating militancy in the community by not including the current Aragonese MEP, Isabel García, on the European lists and choosing instead the senator for Huesca and related to Sánchez and Minister Pilar Alegría, Rosa Serrano.

His criticisms join those of other relevant names of Aragonese socialism such as those of the Secretary of Regional Organization, Darío Villagrasa, or those of the president of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, Juan Antonio Sánchez Quero, who voted against Ferraz's proposal in the list commission considering that there was “mistreatment” towards Aragón.
In this sense, he recalled that 182 group assemblies have been held in the community, in which Isabel García obtained 1,736 of the 1,936 votes cast (90% of the total) compared to the 127 obtained by Daniel Sarasa and the 32 of Rosa Serrano.
The decision taken from Madrid represents a new corrective for Lambán and his followers after the general leadership of the party modified from top to bottom the candidate proposal that Aragón presented after a process of internal participation for the general elections last summer.
To make matters worse, if Serrano finally gets the seat in Brussels (he starts as number 18 and today the PSOE has 20 MEPs), his position in the Senate would be occupied by Miguel Gracia, former president of the Huesca Provincial Council who has a profuse history of rivalries. with Lambán within Aragonese socialism.
