La Ganxeta, the shared public bicycle system in Reus, starts rolling

The City Council of Reus inaugurated this Monday La Ganxeta, the first shared bicycle system in Camp de Tarragona.

In this first phase, 250 units have been enabled distributed in 21 stations located in the urban area. All of them can be used 24 hours a day throughout the year.

The service will launch this Tuesday and throughout the month of February it will be free, so that users can try it out. During the first weeks, La Ganxeta will have three technicians who will provide information on the system at street level and resolve any doubts that may arise.

Starting in March, the bicycle will cost one euro a day, with various bonuses. The council plans to end the year with more than 1,500 registered people.
