Inés Arrimadas responds to the rumors of separation with a photo of her husband

After the news published in digital media that Inés Arrimadas and Xavier Cima had decided to put an end to their relationship, the one that showed that love does not understand ideologies, the politician shared an image a few hours ago in which her husband appears in the beach hand in hand with one of his sons.

"One of the good things about living in Jerez is having the beach so close", Arrimadas has written in the image, also next to the labels

Their love story began when they were both part of the Parliament of Catalonia, when the businessman was a deputy for the Convergència Democràtica de Catalunya and she was one of the most visible faces of Ciudadanos. At first they carried the relationship with the greatest discretion.

The couple said "yes, I want" in 2016 in Jerez de la Frontera four years after they met. And as a result of their marriage, two children have been born: Alex, 3 years old, and Marc, 1. Despite the fact that they met while both were engaged in politics, Cima gradually left public office to dedicate himself to the private business sector. and thus he left the field free for his wife. He did not stand as a candidate with his party in the 2015 elections and left his position as councilor for the Ripoll City Council in 2016.

This atypical marriage showed that love does not understand political parties, since they worked for completely opposite models of the country: Ciudadanos, the party led by Arrimadas, was firmly committed to the unity of Spain; while Convergència, where he was framed, is one of the formations that joined Junts Pel Sí, the pro-independence coalition.
