How to make money with raw materials: "It is the investment with the most potential"

Unlike what may happen in the future with other types of investments, such as bitcoin or Treasury bills, raw materials are and will continue to be essential for humanity. Investing in this market can be very lucrative, as Albert Millan assures. The mathematician, popular on social networks among the investing public for his analysis and reflections, has followed a strategy that has allowed him to obtain high returns each year, thanks to what he considers to be "the investment with the most potential."

Commodities are interesting for diversifying a portfolio "because they follow the cycles of capital, boom and bust, and offer great potential returns if we buy at a low moment and the cycle turns," he explains. The price to pay is volatility, for which "you have to have the stomach; know how to withstand the movements, which tend to be violent, both up and down, and that this does not affect you psychologically," he adds.

Millan, head of market research at LWS, believes that going against the grain can make a difference. And, for this reason, and despite policies that aspire to achieve an economy less dependent on fossil energy, a large part of its portfolio is invested in oil and coal. He admits, however, that he also joins the trend of fashionable materials such as copper, with great weight in the manufacture of electric vehicles. And he predicts which ones will be the most profitable this year.
