How the pyromusical was seen 30 km away

I share in La Vanguardia Readers' Photos these two photographs that I took last night from very far away. Specifically, from the Mirador de la Cornisa, in the coastal mountain range behind Sant Mateu.

We were about 30 km from Barcelona, with a splendid night in terms of visibility and temperature, and, as can be seen in the photographs, a full-fledged spectacle.

We heard the explosions clearly and enjoyed the spectacular pyromusical at the end of the Mercè festival in Barcelona.

Located at the foot of the track that runs along the summit - the main circulation axis that longitudinally crosses the Serralada Litoral Park -, the La Cornisa Viewpoint was consolidated using treated wooden platforms and protective fences.

This space is equipped with benches, with support for bicycle parking and vehicle parking. There is also a panoramic sign that locates, with the corresponding place names, the hills and peaks that surround this viewing point, both in Maresme and Barcelonès, as well as in Vallès Oriental and Occidental.

From this point you can see the mountains of Montjuïc and Tibidabo, La Conreria, the Teià valley and the hills on the Vallesan slope, in addition to being able to see Montserrat, La Mola and Sant Llorenç del Munt. In the photographs you can clearly see not only the fireworks, but also emblematic buildings of Barcelona, such as the Glòries Tower illuminated at night.
