Practically a miracle is what has happened in the city of Tripoli, in northern Lebanon. A stray dog saved a baby girl who was abandoned inside a garbage bag on Wednesday, when a passerby noticed the piercing screams that came from inside the black bag that the animal was holding in its mouth.
Quickly, the passerby intervened and freed the defenseless creature, taking it immediately to the Islamic Hospital in Tripoli. Subsequently, due to the seriousness of her state of health, the baby was transferred to the Government Hospital in Tripoli, where she already received more specialized medical care.
The images that circulated through the networks showed how the little girl, only a few months old, had abrasions and bruises, especially in the area of the face.
The miraculous story of the baby has not gone unnoticed on social networks, where users from all over the world have expressed their shock and solidarity with the creature, some even offering to adopt the girl.
Countless comments are related to the dog, which they already describe as a hero. "The dog has much more humanity, kindness, cunning and intelligence than some satanic mutants in human form," comments one.
While social networks continue to be shocked by this moving story, the girl continues to receive medical care at the hospital, where her condition remains stable within gravity. The police, for their part, are carrying out an investigation to find the person who abandoned the baby, in the hope that justice will be done for this inhumane act.
