The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a 47-year-old driver after skipping a breathalyzer test and ramming a local police car in Amposta (Montsià) and fleeing while driving recklessly.
The events occurred last Friday at four-thirty in the morning, when a man skipped a breathalyzer test and fled at full speed while driving recklessly.
During the chase, the driver rammed a local police patrol vehicle. As a result of the crash, two officers of the force were slightly injured. The man, who will soon be brought to justice, was arrested for a crime against road safety and an attack against law enforcement officers.
